Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely receipt of items arriving at the hospital
  • Ensure inventory is safely stored and distributed around the hospital and locations are maintained and accurate
  • Assist in the implementation of new products, substitutions and removing or use of obsolete stock
  • Complete stock counts of items
  • Develop and maintain a high standard of product knowledge

Crest Hospital is a leading provider of quality private hospital care in the lower North Island. We seek an enthusiastic and professional Supply Chain Coordinator to join our busy team.

This is a part-time 20 hour a week position, with a competitive remuneration of $27/hr.

Key requirements:

  • Experience using ERP systems would be beneficial
  • Excellent work ethic and safety focus
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management and shipping and receiving processes would be beneficial
  • Physical fitness to complete manual tasks without restrictions
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Self motivated, team player with tenacity and strong desire to succeed
  • Flexible and willing to take on new challenges
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain information
