A fantastic opportunity is available for a Quality and Development Manager at Crest Hospital.
Crest Hospital is a private surgical hospital in Palmerston North serving the greater Manawatu region. We are looking for dynamic, flexible, and energetic Quality and Development Manager to join our team.
This is a permanent full time position.
The purpose of this position is to provide leadership to the staff of Crest Hospital in matters related to Quality, Health and Safety, Infection Prevention & Control, Education and Professional Development.
This position is part of the Senior Leadership Team and will actively support the CEO and the Team to achieve the strategic goals of Crest Hospital.
The role is integral to achieving a culture of quality development and clinical excellence that will position Crest Hospital to meet the challenges of the modern healthcare environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
- A tertiary qualification in nursing, quality/management or related discipline
- Five years recent experience in a surgical hospital environment
- Management experience in health
- Proven experience and ability in operational management and leadership within a surgical hospital environment
- Relationship management experience
- Familiar with quality and risk management tools and techniques
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and requirements
- Demonstrates substantial theoretical knowledge to support infection control practice and legislation
- High level of organisational skills and ability to prioritise work
- Ability to energise others to become excited about change and inspires them to create it
- Ability to drive creative ideas through the organisation
- Excellent communication skills
