Crest Hospital is delighted to welcome Dr Sarah Machin back to private practice in August 2021. Sarah will be having clinics at the Crest Specialist Centre on a Tuesday morning.

I first came to New Zealand in 2002 after obtaining my medical degree in Manchester, UK. I undertook my specialist training in Palmerston North, Wellington, Hawkes Bay and Norwich, UK and became a Fellow of The Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in 2011.

I am delighted to return to private practice following a break while my two boys were small. I consult in all areas of gynaecology, including colposcopy and have a special interest in vaginal prolapse and the investigation and treatment of urinary incontinence.

I am currently an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Palmerston North Hospital and the chairperson for RANZCOG training committee in New Zealand.
